James Harrison Career HighlightsPITTSBURGH STEELERS JAMES HARRISON CAME OUT OF RETIREMENT WITH GOALS TO RETURN TO FORM AND AID NEW STEELERS IN DEVELOPING INTO "THE STANDARD"See five time Pro Bowl Pittsburgh Steelers Linebacker James Harrison's Ultimate Highlights.
As James Harrison goes, so go the Pittsburgh Steelers. From 2004 to 2010 the Steelers appeared in four Conference titles, three Super Bowls and James Harrison went to five Pro Bowls. See him dominate in 2004 (after Joey Porter's pregame fight and ejection) at Cleveland, 2005 in San Diego go Olympian like Edwin Moses in hurdling Ladanian Tomlinson post interception, 2007 on Monday Night Football against the Ravens see his all world plays, 2008 quintessential Defensive Highlight of All Super Bowls in a 100 yard return for the game winning score, and the 2010 game in Cleveland with two knockouts that caused the James Harrison rules of today's NFL. You are great when they name a rule after you; James Harrison is the greatest linebacker of the century. Edited by ChrisGossett.com with credits provided to CBS, ESPN, NBC; All Rights Reserved. Jason Worilds Retires Early For Religion - Priorities Over PaydayPITTSBURGH STEELERS JASON WORILDS IS A JEHOVAH'S WITNESSWorilds : A legacy that will remain unforgettable The Steelers
linebacker Jason Worilds had played five years and the Steelers were ready
to allow him to test the free agency market. His productivity
exceeded goals set by the Steelers coaching staff, while the fans, whose
barometer for success saw 7.5 sacks as what Jason Worilds stood
for. Facing offers of $8-10 million annually, Worilds walked away. Do you wonder why you are here? Jason Worilds wasn't known to be an example for other's to follow as he was humble. I don't remember interviews with him, comments by him. He must be a private man. God Blessed him to do what he did. Think of it. If
you knew a Pittsburgh Steeler (once a Steeler always a Steeler, to Steeler
Nation) was coming to talk for free; wouldn't you go? If you were
religious or not, wouldn't you go and listen? I even went to eBay to find his jersey. Not many exist. They are mostly worn jerseys. I have over a dozen Steelers jerseys. I will now make it a priority to land a Worilds jersey. What a class act! In this day and age it is easy to see the forest for the trees. Entitlement is rampant. Players in the NFL today are so entitled they practice 14 practices in pads after the preseason! That's less than once a week. No wonder tackling is a lost art. You used to see entire defensive units of 11 great tacklers. Not anymore! Things have changed. The game has changed. Priorities have changed. People have changed. The whole TIME has changed. Jason Worilds should be remembered very fondly. Steelers Nation was great to have him as an example to point toward for the up and coming Steeler Nation members... God Bless You, Jason Worilds. I can't wait to see you at the final reunion, ever! Keep the faith, spread the faith, fight the good fight. People matter more than money. Souls getting to Heaven all adorn Jesus' crown as individual jewels. Now go help adorn that crown! It's your life's calling! Finally, thank you. You are the example to follow.
Kids today will be Christians tomorrow, helping guide more and more souls to
Heaven.
