VAN HALEN

Van Halen Concert October 10, 2007 from Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, Ohio

My son, James Gossett, went with me to Cleveland to see Van Halen on October 10, 2007.  The entire show was tremendous.  Eddie was in top form, Wolfgang was a pleasure to see and hear, Alex was on fire as always, and David Lee Roth put it all in perfect perspective - "three quarter parts original, one quarter part inevitable."  Dave was as great as I never saw the first time, personally, but on video he is no less dynamic today than before.  I thought it would be really neat to make this page which reveals nearly every moment, nearly every song, in the form of almost forty separate videos from many, different vantage points.  Admittedly there are varying audio quality and video quality recordings, but the audio was considered most significant in the choices of videos inserted here.  Hardly any will have poor audio quality.  All of them have the advantage of Van Halen's ultimate logo, which is the massive monitor.  There is nothing better as a back drop logo than the images of the band, 100' x. 50' , so enjoy!
