right nut; both are crushing" is the motto of this site. Van Halen songs of both the released and
unreleased kind, both live and in the studio are available here for Van Halen
fan enjoyment. Bootleg Van Halen songs vary in quality of sound and play
as well as respective song writers and style.
"Van Halen" - was the debut album of the band, in 1978, a.k.a. "Van
Halen 1" and remains a fan favorite. Van Halen was
already well known in the California music circuit of clubs and local shows, and
playing their raucous songs while often drawing attendance at their shows that
would require Fire Marshall involvement due to building capacities and the
challenge Van Halen's following would pose in volume of fans who showed up for
that particular show. A couple of the most complete and all-inclusive Van
Halen publications that you can find include the Van Halen Encylopedia and Neil
Zlozower's Van Halen 1978-1984 Photography book. These chronicle Van
Halen's true story in facts, words and images.
